It cannot be said that the 2021 Skoda Octavia came out in a new body, although even in the published photos it is noticeable that the car has changed quite profoundly. For the Russian market, the manufacturer has more significantly revised the configuration and prices. At the same time, as noted earlier, the technical characteristics of the Czech model remained the same. The new Octavia is now presented in Russia in three versions. A fairly wide range of optional equipment is available with it.
Active Plus
The starting version of the Czech liftback is offered for a minimum of 1.515 million rubles. For the appearance of an automatic transmission, Skoda asks for an additional 57 thousand rubles. Included with the new Octavia by default are:
- full-size “reserve”;
- on-board computer with information display;
- touch tablet with a diagonal of 8 inches;
- audio system with four (8 for extra charge) speakers;
- air conditioning (climatic equipment for 2 zones for an extra charge);
- start/stop system;
- power steering.
Standard on the new 2021 Skoda Octavia are 16-inch steel wheels, an electronically controlled parking brake, all-round LED headlights, and electrically heated exterior mirrors with servo control and LED turn signals. For a surcharge with the Czech model, you can purchase:
- aluminum rims of the same radius;
- LED fog lights;
- light sensor;
- multifunction steering wheel (standard comes with a leather sheath);
- electric heating for washer nozzles;
- side curtain airbags;
- knee airbag;
- assistant when starting uphill;
- Cruise control;
- lane departure warning system;
- a frontal impact prevention system, supplemented by an automatic stop function;
- fatigue control system;
- rear parking sensor.
As standard, the Czech model is also equipped with anti-lock brakes, electronic stabilization control and slip prevention. In addition, in the initial version, you can find 4 power windows, electric heating of the first row seats and an engine start button.
Ambition Plus
Only 90 thousand rubles more expensive is the average equipment. Such a surcharge is provided for the appearance of aluminum rims, LED fog lights, light and rain sensors, and a multifunctional steering wheel. Optionally, this list is expanded with an electric trunk, leather or combined seat trim, sports front seats and a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel. Electric heating in this version becomes standard for the washer nozzles and is offered at an additional cost for the steering wheel and windshield. In addition, by default, the Ambition Plus modification provides for side curtain airbags, parking sensors, cruise control and dual-zone climate control equipment. And for a surcharge, you can also purchase navigation, a rear camera, premium acoustics with 12 speakers and a 10-inch touchscreen tablet. The same list includes a 230 V outlet, headlight control and blind spot monitoring systems, adaptive cruise control and an autonomous interior parking heater.
Style Plus
Skoda Octavia 2021 in the top version is estimated at 1.806 million rubles. An additional payment of almost 200 thousand rubles is provided for the appearance of a 230 V outlet, atmospheric interior lighting, navigation, a 10-inch touch screen, a front parking sensor, adaptive headlights, a blind spot monitoring system and fog lights with a function of dynamic cornering illumination. By default, in the top version of the liftback there are keyless entry, electric heating for the steering wheel, a 10.2-inch instrument panel and 18-inch rims. As an option with this equipment there are a heated rear sofa and a servo drive for the front seats with a memory function. Seats in the top modification are sheathed with combined materials.

Maintenance costs
As in the case of handling characteristics, now it is not possible to determine how much the operation of the Czech model will cost. Moreover, the car lost its “atmospheric” motor, which demonstrated good reliability. Now Octavia owners will have to be more careful in choosing gas stations, as the 1.4-liter turbo engine does not tolerate low-quality fuel. Because of such fuel, the turbine clogs early. At the same time, the new Octavia also lost its robotic gearbox, which caused a lot of questions. Therefore, the maintenance of the checkpoint will cost a relatively small amount.
Complete sets of new generation
According to the manufacturer, the buyer will still be offered three basic configurations Active, Ambition and Style. Over time, should provide a complete set of Scout and RS. It is also known that the first three configurations will definitely come to Russia, but the relatively charged RS and Scout are still in question.

The top-end Skoda Octavia will receive leather interior trim, a multimedia system with a 10″ display, as well as a fully digital instrument panel. On a pleasant note, you can note the massage function for the front seats, a touch-controlled panoramic roof near the center mirror, adaptive suspension and many additional assistants for the driver.
In all likelihood, after the official start of sales of the new generation Skoda Octavia, the car will sell like hot cakes. There are already quite a few potential buyers who want to transfer to the new generation. Especially in the 4th generation, hybrid configurations were introduced, which many were waiting for in the restyled version of the Skoda Octavia A7. Recall that the official start of sales of Skoda Octavia in Europe is scheduled for January 2020.
